COUNTER MEASURES
The threat of eavesdropping is real and may be targeted at your corporate and personnel life. Throughout the years we have seen evidence of nationwide arrests by law enforcement regarding the sale of illegal eavesdropping equipment. This equipment continues to be available throughout the internet and various electronic stores. Even though eavesdropping is said to be the second oldest profession; the tactics are constantly being modified to suit the ever changing working environment. Today eavesdroppers have various levels of expertise and their methods can be very sophisticated. An increase of sophisticated eavesdropping attacks have been contributed to the abundant supply of former intelligence agents from the old Eastern blocked countries.
In order to conduct a successful sweep against the sophisticated eavesdropper the ISG technician has experience in the advanced art of eavesdropping. This is known in the community as having experience in “positive” eavesdropping techniques. It is not wise to employ technicians without the proper experience. Nor is it wise to buy equipment and conduct sweeps without having prior experience and extensive training.
Since the ISG technicians work almost exclusively in sensitive areas, they use a discreet, low profile, and sophisticated approach in executing their mission. ISG’s employs countermeasure technicians that have international electrical engineering experience. Thus, supplying them with a through understanding of electronics, and extensive work experience with both US and foreign agencies. They are equipped with an array of electronic equipment that includes spectrum analyzers, non-linear junction detectors, TDRs, receivers, and scopes. Upon completion of their mission a detailed countermeasure report will be supplied for your records.
