RF SIGNAL MONITORING SYSTEM

DELTACOM-D

FEATURES:

RF signal warning system
DF target signals
Real-time spectrum analyzer
Software defined DSP demodulation
Optional multi-receivers available

The RF Signal Monitoring System, Model: DELTACOM-D, is a broadband, real-time, signal intelligence system. The Deltacom-D provides situation awareness from intercepted radio signals (RF) while functioning as an RF collection and direction finding system. Signal acquisition is achieved automatically by a computer driven software-defined wideband receiver. Received signals are intercepted, real-time monitored, and stored/recorded to the computer. Relative target signal direction can also be displayed and logged.

The "Mini SIGINT" software is designed for us in the detection of transmitters employed in surveillance operations. The software allows the receiver to operate on the principal of a spectrum analyzer tailored to the application of searching for unknown, suspect signals. The software controls the receiver and displays a spectrum graph with the added functionality of making it possible to spot and investigate spectra differences quickly and easily.

The Mini SIGINT software graph displays the current band scan and the differences between maximum and minimum values measured. When a signal level difference is greater than a user-defined value, and the signal itself is greater than the user-defined threshold, then such "suspect signal" region will be highlighted in the graph. Thus, indicating a possible presence of a transmitter. The suspect signals defined in the highlighted areas can be saved as a text report or a graphical image.

The Deltacom-D can also record a 20 kHz wide spectrum at the IF level. This feature will allow post-processing of signals. This can be useful for employing a selection of filters or when the demodulation format is not known to the user.

The Deltacom-D is capable of standard analog demodulation such as AM, CW, NFM, and WFM. In addition, digital demodulation software is provided with a collection of processing modules that will demodulate the following:

- WEFAX (Satellite Weather Fax)
- HF Fax
- Packet Radio
- Aircraft Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS)
- Dual Tone Multi-Frequency Signaling (DTMF)
- Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System (CTCSS)
- Signal Classifier
- Motorola SmartNet® and MPT1327 trunking networks
- Optional formats available upon request

The Deltacom-D is housed in a light-weight rugged mobile workstation made of extruded aluminum, hard coated with a special EMI protecting material. The Deltacom-D is operated via a 105-key spill-proof keyboard with a trackball. The system comes complete with antennas, auto-switching AC power supply, and cigeratte lighter 12 VDC power adapter.

APPLICATIONS:
